My Sleep Expert combines CBT-I based sleep guidance, ACT-informed psychology, personalized meditations, and async coaching to help people rebuild healthy sleep with science-based support and practical tools.

Our belief

Sleep is not something you win by trying harder.

Most people with insomnia are already trying too hard. They try to relax. They try to control the night. They try to predict tomorrow. They try to be perfect with sleep hygiene. Then the bed becomes a place of effort.

We believe better sleep starts when the pressure drops and the method becomes clear.

Why we built this

Samuel first became interested in insomnia because he struggled with sleep since childhood.

For years, he looked for the answer. Doctors. Therapies. CBT-I. ACT. Routines. Supplements. Meditation. Sleep hygiene. Yoga Nidra. Inner Dance. Strict rules. Softer approaches. Some things helped a little. Some helped for a while. Some worked for other people and did almost nothing for him.

Eventually, he fixed his insomnia. He has not had insomnia for many years.

That long search taught him something important: insomnia is not one single problem.

Two people can both say, "I cannot sleep," but their patterns may be completely different. One needs more sleep pressure. One needs less fear around waking. One needs ACT tools to stop struggling with thoughts. One needs a firmer schedule. One needs a gentle emergency audio at 4am because the panic is the real problem.

At the same time, CBT-I offered something different. It was structured, practical, and focused on changing the loop that keeps insomnia alive.

My Sleep Expert exists to make that kind of help easier to access, more personal, and easier to complete. A serious method, delivered in a more flexible way, with enough coaching that people do not feel abandoned when the first hard night arrives.

Founder

Samuel is the founder of My Inner Center, a center of holistic therapies, and MosaLingua, an EdTech company he bootstrapped from zero to more than 11 million app downloads. He started meditation and personal development in 2010, around the same time he began seriously trying to fix his own sleep. After many years of insomnia since childhood, and after experimenting with CBT-I, ACT, therapy, meditation, Yoga Nidra, Inner Dance, and many practical sleep tools, he is now free from insomnia and has not had insomnia for many years. His role is to make sleep support feel personal, human, practical, and easier to complete.

Psychologist

Pilar Hostaled Pueyo is a licensed psychologist in Barcelona with more than 20 years of experience in emotional care. She works with individual, family, couples, and group therapy, with a background in clinical and humanistic psychology, systemic family therapy, mindfulness, ACT, EMDR, EFT, Wingwave Coaching, and NLP. Since 2014 she has worked as a psychologist in a public service in Barcelona supporting women through complex life situations. At My Sleep Expert, she brings clinical sensitivity, careful listening, and a grounded understanding of stress, fear, relationships, and nervous system patterns.

What would actually help this person sleep better this week?

We do not want to create another library of recordings people never finish.

We want every part of the experience to answer one question: what would actually help this person sleep better this week?

That means clear assessment, careful guidance, practical exercises, and enough human presence for the client to feel supported without needing a live appointment every time.

It also means we do not pretend one exercise works for everyone. If breathwork makes you monitor your body too much, we try something else. If strict sleep restriction makes you panic, we adjust the path. If meditation helps you rest but not change the pattern, we combine it with the behavioral work that insomnia usually needs.
